Chapter 1.3: Your First Thai Conversations
Chapter 1.3
Sawaddii kha, nák-rian,
After learning sentence structure, we will put everything from the first lesson - vocabulary, into three different situations in the "conversation part". You will learn how to greet and converse for the first meet, tell about your personal information - where you come from and what language you speak, as well as how to have a casual conversation with your friends. Are you ready? /phróm may?/
New Vocabulary
- To meet = /ceer/ เจอ
- Weather = /aa-kàad/ อากาศ
- Hot (a) = /róorn/ ร้อน
Notes
- เป็นอย่างไรบ้าง (pen yàang-ray bâang) or "How is it going?" can be shortened to เป็นยังไงบ้าง (pen yang-ngai bâan) in a spoken language.
- There are different ways to respond to the question. Please learn more from my video on Youtube.
